The magic of 275 — Why the stock market is overdue for a correction
275 points is a key number based on natural and other laws. Astrologically it represents the degree of 5 Capricorn. Mathematically, 275/365 days * 360 = 271 degrees and this is close to 270 degrees or 3/4 of a circle.
Using a scale of 1:16 for the S&P 500, the stock market level that corresponds closely to this round number is 275*16 = 4400 and it would take a strong market to overcome this level definitively, i.e., 80 points or more above this level.
Consider also that the averages of the planets are operating at or around this level. On August 2, 2021, the Geocentric and Heliocentric mean of the planetary longitudes of the 6 outer planets Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars are around 248 degrees. Placed in the square of nine, this translates to a resistance value of 277 per the diagram below:
Thus the mean of six (MOS) planets offers the strongest resistance at 277 or 4432 points. As of this writing, The S&P 500’s highest level is 4429.8 which is conjunct to the MOS position.
Planetary cycles and 1987
Although not expecting a very significant correction like that in 1987, the composition may be similar to that of 1987 as Uranus is heliocentrically 135 degrees away from the October crash in 1987. Saturn-Uranus synodic cycle is 272 degrees away from the October crash in 1987. Coupled with other key cycles, August should mark a period of correction:
Potential targets
Potential targets could include the 75% retracement line or 12.5% of the highest selling price which is 4429.8.
I’ve not included other cycles that I thought relevant but I can’t be long this market until a sizeable correction has taken place and I think this fall might bring about the conditions for such a correction to happen.
